Pocketwheel style chainwheels are designed to accommodate applications where straight link welded chain is required. The chain channel is designed to accept every other link of straight link chain.
Available in the following materials:
- Cast Iron is our most economical material. It is recommended in mildly corrosive environments.
- Ductile Iron is more shock resistant than cast iron and is required for conversions to a hammer-blow style wheel. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
- Aluminum is a light weight alternative that comes with a stainless attachment set. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
- Corrosion Resistant is recommended when the chainwheel will be exposed to a corrosive environment. Available coatings for the chainwheel and all components are epoxy which comes with stainless steel attachment sets. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

- Attachment instructions for installing the chainwheel to the hand wheel of the valve

- Stainless steel attachment sets are the same dimensions as the zinc plated carbon steel attachment sets but are constructed out of 304 stainless. They are recommended for areas where the chainwheel or components will be exposed to corrosive environments.
- Welded machine chain is required for pocketwheel operation but is not included in the price due to varying length requirements. For more information on chain, visit our chain section.
