I went to this Eterna Pharmacy, and the manager at the pharmacy was extremely helpful. She helped fill an emergency pen for me even though I was out-of-towner… I am so grateful for the help.. thank you, thank you.
Where do I even begin, ugh not the biggest fan of the staff or the owners? They have a tendency to be kind of rude. They take forever. They offer a curbside pickup, but then they make me go inside anyway. They also offer delivery but then say they can’t deliver. We’d get our prescriptions elsewhere, but this place is literally walking distance from my house. In all, they just need to do better. To top it off, one day, when the sign was up that said only one person in the pharmacy at a time, my kid sat on the bench outside, but some mangoes inside, and I told my son to get in line in front of him because he was there first. But they made my son get in the back of the line, and then they made me come into the store, and I had to wait in line. It’s dysfunction.
I was spending the long weekend on the island and left my Modafinil at home. The pharmacist was so helpful. She searched my account online and made the appropriate contacts, and was able to help me with it. I was so relieved and was able to enjoy my weekend. That’s what customer service is all about, going the extra mile to assist customers. Kudos to Rite Aid Pharmacy, especially to this location!
Although each individual pharmacist is kind and friendly, the organization of this pharmacy is disastrous. It takes between 30 and 45 minutes to have Modafinil prescription filled on a normal day, which is tolerable but also variable as they may forget to fill your prescription during this time. But (apparently) sometimes the (only) pharmacist will be out of the pharmacy with no back-ups available until further notice, leaving many people unable to have time-sensitive prescriptions refilled. I’d much rather go to another nearby pharmacy where, at the very least, they are more dependable as far as hours of availability and coverage. I do understand that things happen, but in a field such as pharmacology, I’d expect there to be a few backup pharmacists who could be called in if necessary.
My brother recently moved to Wisconsin, and we were experiencing many difficulties getting his Modafinil squared away between the Dr’s office, Walmart Pharmacy, Medicare, and supplemental insurance. After 2 weeks of little progress and endless phone calls, we switched to Southcoast Pharmacy, and they helped resolve the problems in 2 days, and the meds cost less! Thanks, Southcoast Pharmacy!!
I think the woman pharmacist is very kind and genuinely concerned for my dad. However, I am very upset that they charged him for 5 Modafinil packs $500 rather than one. They should have asked him first. I had his first prescription filled at Walmart, which gave him ONE. If they are a small pharmacy and don’t have the need for the rest of the pack, they should have the proactivity to ask before ordering and filling the script and passing the cost to an 86 year old retired man. Having worked in a pharmacy for years, and am very upset about this. They have lost his loyal business.
I love this Stop & Shop Pharmacy‘s staff members. I have yet to encounter a single unfriendly or unhelpful member amongst them. I’ve asked for advice about my Modafinil, vitamins, and other supplements and have yet to be told they couldn’t help. Most, if unsure about a question I’ve asked, will research and call me with the information. Bravo, to this crew for being the epitome of GREAT customer service.
Pharmacy from hell!! I have come to this location 3 times for them to process the same claim on my Modafinil prescriptions. The pharmacist was so mean telling me stuff like: You don’t think I can read that!? In front of a lot of people, when I tried to read her my Insurance ID number. I called my insurance, and they told me the pharmacy had processed the claim, but the pharmacist told me that my claim was not processed and that I should come back tomorrow. So not kind and ugly with people. I would never advise anyone to come here. They will make sure to make your time there very difficult.
